If Only They Knew
Should social media be banned for children under 13 years old
Should social media be banned for children under 13 years old
Many people argue that social media is a dangerous tool for children to have access to, while others believe that it is important for our young people to communicate. Although both points are strong enough to argue the debate, neither point outweighs the other but a solution is desperately needed for our young people today as this is a debate which has, and I am sure will continue to, rage on.
It is a partinet point that by banning social media could cause our children and young people: severe bouts of unhappiness; losing their friends and ultimately leading to possible depression. Nobody would want this surely? However, it could be argued that the effect of cyber- bullying - which is increasing - causes more damage to our young, vulnerable children. This leads to similar issues. Even though both points raised might have a significant impact on children’s well being, it is difficult to determine which would have the most impact.
No one can deny that inappropriate material can be accessed by children when they are online, even by accident. This could lead to them replicating the behavior they have seen; thinking that it is acceptable. Whereas people could argue that many children ( at school and home ) successfully use social media to enhance their skills. Should it be the case that parents have to judge the maturity of their children when making these important decisions and monitor what their children view more carefully?
In summary, the use of social media by young people, if used correctly, could have a positive impact on their social and educational skills. Obviously, this depends on the level of maturity and teaching and monitoring the parents do. These are just some key points and there are many more but I hope this has helped you to establish your view on the topic.

WK1 T4 Writing (Poem)
The End of the DriveWay
At the end of the driveway, the world, Begins
At the End of the driveway, the world is, Going
Kids are playing and drawing.Kids are Studying & Studying for exams.
In the Term Holidays kids are playing and playing
Kids are rolling and rolling.
Inside their house they are yelling and screaming
Inside their house kids are dancing and singing with some loud music.
This girl is doing tik toks, this boy is playing with toy cars.
That what’s gone is a new beginning,
That what begins is already growing
Fast then Faster
Adults, with their sad faces,
Squished into the seats for Adults places.

WK1 T4 Writing ( Christmas Poem )
A Christmas Well Enjoyed
The Candy Canes are Strung,
The Baubles are on the tree,
The Shocking are dangling read to fill,
With all things sweet and yummy.
The Cookies are on the table,
The milk is freshly poured,
We have to write a thank you note,
For all Santa can afford.
We all the food’s been eaten,
And the wrapping been destroyed,
We’ll still have all the memories
Of a Christmas well enjoyed.

Secondly: Children miss out on school because their families need them to earn money. But by sacrificing their education, they become trapped in a cycle of poverty. For many families the long-term benefits of sending their children to school are outweighed by the immediate need to send them to work or keep them at home to help with chores.
Thirdly: Education is the route out of poverty for many children. It gives them a chance to gain the knowledge and skills needed to improve their lives. My W3 T3 Writing
Purpose: Entertain
Audience: Everyone
Too Much Tv
I think we should not have too much t.v because more and more children are getting aggressive every day it is the tv. That causes programmes like Dragon Ball Z, Pokemone and other things that cause fireballs, Shooting and bomings are terrible for young children's minds.
Firstly: Some Children think it is real but it isn't. Children think war and fighting is fun and don’t realize that it kills people in real life and hurts families.
Secondly: There are better things for children to do than watch tv… Children can draw, ride bikes, play games, talk with their friends and have heaps of fun without tv.
Finally: I believe children get more into fighting and arguing if they watch too much tv. We want peaceful children and adults, don’t we? I ask tv. Statials to take off the aggressive contains at least and ask parents to check their children tv viewing
